Acting accolades

Born in Brasil, raised in America, Alec is the rare actor that can perform in three languages. Now a Vancouver mainstay, Alec has graced the screen on multiple network shows. His recent credits include a lead role in an upcoming MOW, Virgin River (Netflix), Firefly Lane (Netflix) and Snowpiercer (TNT-Netflix). His comedic chops are on full display on over 2 dozen national commercials including,VISA, Coca-Cola, Nestle, Xfinity and Fitbit. His accolades extend to the stage as he was awarded a best Actor nomination for his performance in Lungs.

Teaching credentials

What makes Alec unique amongst the versatile teaching community in Vancouver is that Alec is a certified Science, Drama and Creative Writing teacher for the Vancouver School Board. Alec knows how to motivate teenagers, pre-teens and younger ages. With almost a decade of experience in teaching high school, Alec does not have a “one size fits all approach”. As an educator he is able to cater his instruction to the specific needs and talents of the pupil.

Self Tape Skills

Alec has been a reader for Judy Lee and other casting directors. His experience behind the camera is extensive. He understands composition, lighting, angles and eye lines. Here at the Studio we feel that it is important that excellent acting by excellent cinematography including lighting and backdrops that match your skin type.
